Job Summary:
The Power BI Sr. Developer will be responsible for designing developing and optimizing Power BI semantic models and dashboards to support business intelligence needs. This role involves advanced DAX programming data visualization Power BI administration and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver scalable BI solutions.

Location:Atlanta Georgia United States
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Power BI semantic models using dimensional modeling techniques.
- Develop complex DAX measures and calculated columns for business logic and KPIs.
- Build intuitive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards.
- Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures for data pipelines.
- Manage Power BI Service components and support governance initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide support to self-service BI users.
- Document data models DAX logic SQL scripts and report specifications.
- Design and develop Power BI semantic models using dimensional modeling techniques.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics or related field.
- 5 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
- Strong expertise in semantic modeling (star schema dataflows composite models).
- Advanced DAX programming skills.
- Proficiency in Power Query (M language).
- Solid SQL development experience in both Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience with Power BI administration including gateways RLS/OLS workspace governance and capacity management.
- Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling concepts.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics or related field.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) Semantic model (RPD) interactive reports and dashboard.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks.
- Experience working with large complex data sets in a multi-system environment.
- Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) Semantic model (RPD) interactive reports and dashboard.

Special Considerations:
- The position is subject to annual budget restrictions.
- Absences greater than two weeks must be approved in advance.
- The selected candidate will be expected to start their engagement no later than 2 weeks (10 business days) from the client s selection date.
- The candidate first day is onsite and onsite on demand basis.
- Travel to Atlanta for the first day for onboarding is required at no expense.
- GDOT will not be providing any raises within the first 2 years. After that point the **** increase will be based on performance and budget dependent.
