Job Title: Dynatrace Monitoring Engineer (Infrastructure & Application Monitoring - 14 yrs Exp)

Location: Atlanta GA - (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Configure maintain and optimize enterprise monitoring solutions using Dynatrace.
• Enable end-to-end observability across infrastructure systems and applications.
• Develop monitoring dashboards alerts KPIs health checks and reporting to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Monitor service performance and availability while defining alert thresholds to minimize false positives.
• Monitor Windows and Linux servers virtual environments and cloud platforms including AWS Azure and GCP.
• Support monitoring of databases middleware platforms and network infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with infrastructure cloud and application teams to identify system trends and capacity planning requirements.
• Proactively identify troubleshoot and resolve system issues before they impact production environments.
• Monitor application performance transaction flows and service dependencies using Dynatrace.
• Implement and maintain synthetic monitoring and real user monitoring (RUM).
• Work closely with application development teams to ensure comprehensive monitoring coverage across services and microservices.
• Troubleshoot performance issues at both the infrastructure and application layers.
• Participate in incident response activities related to performance degradation and service availability.
• Provide monitoring insights during troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts.
• Identify and close monitoring and observability gaps across enterprise systems.
• Recommend baseline monitoring thresholds KPIs and SLAs to support enterprise monitoring standards.
• Enhance monitoring documentation standards and operational procedures.
• Recommend improvements to monitoring configurations alerting strategies and observability practices.
• Support integration of monitoring tools with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
• Work with enterprise log analysis frameworks and tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Support migration activities from Dynatrace Managed to Dynatrace SaaS environments.
• Utilize scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or Bash to streamline monitoring tasks and operational workflows.
• Monitor containerized environments and platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Apply knowledge of VMware and virtualized infrastructure environments.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS TCP/IP and load balancing.
• Apply knowledge of ITIL practices and experience working within regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
• Provide expert-level technical guidance to engineering and operations teams.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain a proactive detail-oriented approach to monitoring system health and reliability.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in systems engineering infrastructure monitoring or observability roles.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
• Exposure to AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification is preferred.
