Big firm expertise with small firm customer service.With over 75 employees MHP is the largest regional CPA firm in Wyoming. However since our start in the early 1930s MHP has been dedicated to personalized customer service to both our employees and clients. MHP is deeply rooted in the Cheyenne community both figuratively and literallynot only have we been around for over 90 years but our office is also located in the heart of downtown Cheyenne within walking distance of good food coffee and breweries.

What Youll Do

This role works across departments to support a variety of marketing employee engagement and administrative initiatives within the Firm. Success in this role requires follow-through adaptability and a willingness to take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Firm Social Media Marketing and Communication

  • Actively manage and maintain the Firms social media presence to attract prospective employees and market our services to clients.
  • Coordinate community stewardship marketing efforts including managing advertisements sponsorship logos and brand visibility.
  • Assist with website oversight and ensure content remains accurate current and aligned with Firm messaging.
  • Track campaigns and initiatives to ensure deadlines are met and projects are fully executednot just launched.

Coordination of Firm Activities and Retention Efforts

  • Lead survey creation and data collection efforts with careful attention to detail and organization.
  • Plan coordinate and execute firm-wide events from logistics to post-event follow-up.

Administrative & Cross-Functional Support

  • Provide administrative support related to recruiting event planning and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics for on-campus recruiting and student on-site visits.
  • Assist with scheduling tracking deadlines managing vendor communications and organizing documentation.
  • Jump in to assist leadership and teams as needs ariseespecially during busy recruiting seasons and high-volume periods.
  • Assist with audit departmental logistics including CPE credit tracking internal job status reporting and the drafting/processing of various audit-related deliverables.
  • Coordinate and execute the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) process including drafting tailored responses gathering technical specifications from subject matter experts and ensuring all submission deadlines and requirements are met.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • 2-3 years of experience in an Administrative or related function.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Prior experience planning and executing events.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook LinkedIn Instagram) and online communication tools.
  • Experience with Canva Easil or similar design platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through to completion.
  • Self-directed highly motivated and comfortable handling both strategic and administrative tasks.
  • Willingness to step in wherever needed to support the Firms goals.

  • Move throughout office and campus facilities during events and recruiting activities.
  • Prolonged sitting standing computer use and driving.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds (team lift required beyond 50 pounds).
  • Ability to shift focus quickly due to interruptions and mentally track multiple concurrent projects.
