Job Title: TDY Registered Nurse - Psychiatric
Location: Bethel AK
Start Date: 04/21/2026
Shift: Days/Nights 40 hrs/week
Weekly Pay: $2720
Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed to provide patient care across all age groups in a psychiatric setting. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver quality cost-effective care and achieve optimal patient outcomes. Serve as a resource person and supervise Psychiatric Technicians as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Apply the nursing process: assessment diagnosis planning implementation and evaluation of patient care.

Administer treatments medications and interpret diagnostic tests.

Provide patient family and significant-other education.
-
Document all care accurately and follow established guidelines and procedures.

Supervise and coordinate care with Psychiatric Technicians.

Maintain flexibility for independent actions within prescribed limits and adapt to varying schedules.

Utilize office and medical equipment as appropriate (EKG cystoscopy computers fax etc.).
Qualifications:

Graduate of an NLN-approved nursing program.
-
Active RN license in Alaska.
-
Current BLS certification.
-
Preferred: 1 year of experience in healthcare as a Registered Nurse.

Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing/EKG skills.

Strong oral and written communication problem-solving and documentation skills.
