Woodston Personnel have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant in Anatomical Pathology role with our client in KSA. The Consultant is a senior specialist responsible for providing diagnostic pathology services through the examination and interpretation of tissue specimens biopsies and surgical resections. The role includes delivering accurate and timely histopathological diagnoses supporting clinical decision-making and contributing to multidisciplinary patient care. The consultant will participate in clinical governance quality assurance education and research while ensuring that pathology services meet the highest standards of patient safety and diagnostic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Examine and interpret surgical pathology specimens biopsies and cytology samples where applicable.
Provide accurate timely histopathology reports to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Perform and report on intraoperative frozen sections when required.
Participate in autopsy services where applicable and in accordance with institutional requirements.
Provide expert consultation to clinicians on pathological findings and disease processes.
Ensure adherence to diagnostic protocols and laboratory quality standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings including oncology surgery gastroenterology gynecology and other relevant specialties.
Collaborate with clinicians radiologists and laboratory staff to correlate pathological findings with clinical and radiological information.
Provide second opinions and subspecialty consultation when required.
Participate in laboratory quality assurance and quality improvement programs.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards regulatory requirements and laboratory best practices.
Contribute to development and review of pathology protocols and standard operating procedures.
Participate in clinical audit risk management and service evaluation.
Provide teaching and supervision to pathology trainees laboratory scientists and medical students.
Participate in departmental educational activities such as case conferences journal clubs and teaching sessions.
Support continuing professional development for laboratory and medical staff.
Participate in research activities related to pathology and diagnostic medicine.
Contribute to publications presentations and academic collaborations where possible.
Support development and implementation of new diagnostic techniques and technologies.

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish UK Canadian New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma dEtudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
