Position Summary

Anderson Powersports is seeking aMaster Powersports Off-Road Technicianto join our growing service department. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who takes pride in their craft enjoys solving complex mechanical problems and wants to be part of a professional high-performing shop environment.

We are currently preparing for the expansion of ournew 18-bay service facility and we are looking for technicians who want to grow with us and help build one of the strongest powersports service departments in the region.

TheMaster Technicianserves as a technical leader within the shop performing advanced diagnostics and repairs while assisting other technicians with complex issues. This position requires expert-level mechanical knowledge strong diagnostic ability and a commitment to quality workmanship and team success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complexmechanical and electrical issueson off-road powersports vehicles including ATVs UTVs dirt bikes and side-by-sides

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting onengines drivetrains suspension systems fuel systems and electrical systems

  • Completeengine rebuilds transmission repairs and performance upgrades

  • Utilizemanufacturer diagnostic tools and service manualsto accurately identify and resolve issues

  • Assist andmentor other technicianswith difficult diagnostics and repairs

  • Conductfinal quality inspectionson completed repairs to ensure safety reliability and proper operation

  • Accurately documentdiagnostics labor times parts used and service noteswithin the service management system

  • Communicate clearly withservice advisorsregarding repair needs timelines and parts requirements

  • Stay current withmanufacturer service bulletins new models and evolving technologies

  • Assist withwarranty diagnostics and documentationaccording to manufacturer guidelines

  • Maintain aclean organized and safe work environment

Performance Expectations

This position is designed for a technician who can operate at ahigh level of production while maintaining excellent repair quality.

Technicians are expected to:

  • Maintain strongproductivity and efficiency

  • Complete repairs withinmanufacturer labor time guidelines whenever possible

  • Maintain ahigh first-time fix ratewith minimal comebacks

  • Support shop productivity byassisting other technicians with advanced diagnostics

A qualified and capable technician can expect the opportunity to produce200 labor hours per month.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years experienceas a powersports technician or similar mechanical role

  • Expert knowledge ofATV UTV dirt bike and side-by-side systems

  • Strongdiagnostic and troubleshooting ability

  • Experience performingengine drivetrain electrical and suspension repairs

  • Ability to read and interpretservice manuals and wiring diagrams

  • Proficiency usingdiagnostic scanners and manufacturer software

  • Valid drivers license

  • Ability tolift 50 lbsand work in a professional shop environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturer certifications such asPolaris Can-Am Yamaha Kawasaki Honda or KTM

  • Master-level technician certificationor equivalent experience

  • Experience withperformance modifications and aftermarket installations

  • Welding or fabrication experience

  • Leadership ormentoring experiencewithin a shop environment

Technicians at Anderson Powersports are supported with:

Tools

Technicians are expected to provide their ownstandard hand tools.
Specialty tools and manufacturer diagnostic equipment are provided by the dealership.
