Senior Helpers of Smithtown the best home care agency to work for is excited to announce a new opportunity:Area Lead Caregiver! This role is designed to support both our clients and our caregiving team in the field.
What Youll Do
As an Area Lead Caregiver you will:
- Cover last-minute call-outs and open shifts when needed
- Conduct client and caregiver check-in visits to ensure quality care
- Provide field training and mentorship to caregivers
- Serve as a trusted resource for our caregiving team
- Help strengthen communication between the office caregivers and clients
Requirements
- 12 years of caregiving or home care experience (CNA HHA PCA or equivalent)
- Strong caregiving knowledge and passion for client care
- Reliable flexible and able to cover shifts at short notice
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using mobile apps/EVV systems
- Valid drivers license reliable transportation and auto insurance
- Must pass background check and meet state requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Bilingual skills
