Woodston Personnel have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant in Pediatric Medical Imaging role with our client in KSA. The Consultant is a senior specialist responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and interventional services for infants children and adolescents. The role involves providing expert interpretation of imaging studies guiding imaging protocols specific to pediatric patients collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams and contributing to teaching research and service development within the radiology department. The consultant ensures imaging services are safe child-centered and aligned with best clinical practice while supporting the hospitals commitment to excellence in pediatric care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert interpretation and reporting of pediatric imaging studies including X-ray ultrasound CT MRI and fluoroscopy.
Perform and supervise pediatric imaging procedures and image-guided interventions where applicable.
Develop and maintain pediatric imaging protocols ensuring radiation safety and dose optimization.
Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings including pediatrics neonatal oncology trauma and surgery.
Provide clinical advice to referring clinicians regarding appropriate imaging investigations.
Support emergency and on-call imaging services as part of the consultant rota.
Ensure imaging services are delivered in a child-friendly and family-centered environment.
Apply radiation protection principles (ALARA) in pediatric imaging.
Maintain high standards of clinical governance quality assurance and patient safety.
Contribute to strategic planning and development of pediatric imaging services.
Support implementation of new technologies imaging techniques and clinical pathways.
Participate in departmental quality improvement and audit initiatives.
Provide education and supervision to radiology trainees pediatric residents and medical students.
Support continuing professional development within the department.
Participate in academic activities such as lectures case reviews and journal clubs.
Engage in clinical research and contribute to publications and presentations where possible.
Support development of evidence-based imaging practices.

Job requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish UK Canadian New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma dEtudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
