Job Summary
The role is to support the Warehouse Assistant to ensure continuous flow of day-to-day picking and packing function receipting and storage of goods. This role is primarily based on the warehouse floor; however this role will also cover the basic functions of the Warehouse Assistant when required. Hours of work 8:00-16:00.
Responsibilities
Works with and supports the Warehouse Assistant.
Receiving goods noting any damage marking off inwards packing slip putting away in correct bin locations and noting on the inventory put away and all other functions related to receiving goods.
Dispatch of goods as per inventory picks following packing protocols and ensuring accuracy and all other functions related to dispatching of goods.
Conduct regular physical counts and make sure all products are stored correctly.
Follows all Health & Safety requirements in line with training and manual.
Keeps the warehouse in a neat and tidy condition.
Covers Warehouse Assistant when required.
Adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
Other duties as required.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- 3-5 Years experience in a warehouse role.
- Forklift license high reach
- Understanding of warehousing import documentation and handling customer orders.
- Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal and listening communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Team player
- Service and customer focused.
Work Environment:
- Cool room work
- Occasionally lift maximum 35kg
- Forklift on site
Experience:
- 3-5 years warehouse experience.
Education:
- HSC minimum.
