The Opportunity
The Customer Service Attendant (CSA) plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for all patrons at The CORE. This position requires an energetic and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service every day. To effectively serve customers the CSA must have a strong knowledge of facility hours fitness center operations classes program offerings and events. This role requires flexibility as CSAs alternate between front desk operations and the fitness center desk. The CORE values teamwork and cross-trains employees to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded staff. Staff may also take on additional responsibilities as assigned

- Deliver a welcoming high-quality customer experience to every patron who enters the facility.
- Greet assist and communicate with patrons in person and by phone in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding facility amenities memberships programs schedules and special events.
- Process pass sales and payments accurately while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Monitor facility operations to ensure a safe clean and well-organized environment for all patrons.
- Respond calmly and professionally to situations requiring conflict resolution or de-escalation.
- Assist with the setup breakdown and support of programs classes and special events.
- Rotate between front desk and fitness center duties to meet overall facility operational needs.
- Oversee general safety rule enforcement and appropriate use of equipment within the fitness center.
- Assist patrons with basic fitness equipment questions and provide general usage guidance as needed.
- Answer incoming phone calls and address on-site customer questions promptly and accurately.
- Utilize Microsoft Office ActiveNet and other computer systems and hardware to perform daily job functions.
- Contribute to a positive adaptable team environment by participating in cross-training and upholding The CORE values of teamwork professionalism and service excellence.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertakes additional tasks as requested or required to contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Community Experiences Department

Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- 18 Years of age or older
- Certification of CPR/FA is preferred; it will be required upon hire for continued employment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Employees must possess a knowledge of customer service and basic office equipment. Knowledge of CPR and related techniques is preferred. Knowledge of how to accurately process and reconcile financial transactions and the ability to process electronic payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
