Job Summary

Overview

Legacy Health has an opportunity for a Hospitalist leader to join the Emanuel team. This position directs all aspects of hospitalist team operations to ensure alignment with the mission values and strategic objectives of the organization. Responsible and has authority to recruit & retain the best and brightest to join a culturally diverse hospitalist team build culture of learning and continuous improvement and support team to collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and administrative partners to achieve operational excellence. Communicates clear expectations and fosters respectful environment where providers are empowered and supported to produce quality results. Accountable directly to Legacy Medical Group physician leadership and indirectly to hospital site leadership teams.

Qualification and Licensure Requirements

  • Graduate of a 4-year Medical School or equivalent and completed Internal Medicine residency.
  • Board certified in internal medicine.
  • Unrestricted Oregon Medical license.
  • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Must have at least 5 years of clinical practice as a hospitalist
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a manner that exemplifies Legacy Values in Action (Strategic People and Performance leadership)
