As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Johnston RI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues. You will document observations respond to requests and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while providing strong customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices data and equipment areas loading docks parking areas and perimeter points helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access control points verify identification and/or credentials manage visitor check-in and direct deliveries to designated receiving areas in a professional manner.
• Complete patrol and incident reports using required systems escalate maintenance and security-related concerns and support operational continuity for a technology location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
