The Financial Analyst Renewals is a key resource on our team that focuses on renewals and retention carrier relationship management and driving growth. You are great at identifying opportunities by reviewing client data and claims experience to support your recommendations with the insurance carriers to come up with the best resolution for the client.
The Financial Analyst Renewals will:
Analyze and negotiate group renewals 35 lives and under from insurers for accuracy and completeness and work with insurers until renewals are accepted
Negotiate mutually acceptable solutions and create plan amendment suggestions for
cost containment when required by correlating claims activity to current plan design
Coordinate with Account Executives for direction on 20% renewal offerings and/or erroneous situations and all advisor communication.
Contact Carriers/Sales Representatives to discuss and clarify missing information
Prepare reports for advisors based on findings and recommendations for insured renewals
Develop and maintain direct relationships with carriers internal team members and provide excellent customer service
Maintain high levels of productivity respecting service commitments to advisors
Assist with ad hoc department projects as needed
To be successful as a Financial Analyst Renewals you will need:
2 years of experience in the group benefits industry
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
2 years working in a Client focused environment with commitment for service excellence
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet client and internal needs
