Estamos en la búsqueda de un analista de abastecimiento que sea responsable de la identificación la adquisición y la gestión continua de contratos comercialmente favorables que brinden un valor óptimo a la Unidad de Negocios de Rio Tinto.

Quien ocupe este puesto será responsable de un conjunto de proyectos asignados y de dar valor a través del despliegue de mejores prácticas herramientas de compras y habilidades de negociación bajo la supervisión del gerente de compras mientras trabaja en un equipo integrado.

Se requerirá que el analista de abastecimiento se encargue de la gestión y ejecución de proyectos de abastecimiento en función de la demanda operativa y de acuerdo con las habilidades y la experiencia. Se espera que el analista de abastecimiento desarrolle e implemente planes de compras y contrataciones que den valor de manera óptima. Quien ocupe el puesto reportará al especialista en compras y será responsable de realizar las siguientes tareas:

  • Procurar que Rincon Mining reciba el mayor valor de los planes de compras y contratación mediante la negociación efectiva de contratos comercialmente favorables que puedan dar valor y se completen de acuerdo con los requisitos de la Unidad de Negocios con respecto al costo al cronograma y a la calidad del servicio.

  • Garantizar que las mejores oportunidades de los clientes para la creación de valor se cumplan mediante la identificación proactiva de oportunidades o riesgos en una etapa temprana aclarando el valor del potencial y dando respuesta inmediata a las necesidades de los clientes en el proceso de compra.

  • Implementar habilidades analíticas en el análisis de datos de investigación de mercado información de estrategia de proveedores y requisitos de clientes.

  • Preparar llenar y analizar las de plantillas de evaluación de ofertas y proveedores.

  • Preparar recomendaciones con base en este análisis para apoyar la planificación y ejecución de la estrategia de negociación.

  • Utilizar plenamente los sistemas de abastecimiento electrónico y otros sistemas de compras de Rio Tinto.

  • Contribuir a una cultura sólida de gestión de Río Tinto Procurement (RTP por sus siglas en inglés) al cumplir e impulsar el comportamiento de otras personas en consonancia con La forma en que trabajamos Los principios de compras y otras políticas y procedimientos de gestión de RTP.

  • Completar todos los proyectos de abastecimiento según lo planeado.

  • Contribuir en los objetivos del equipo para la entrega de valor.

Lo que Usted aportará

  • Experiencia laboral mínima de dos años en análisis comercial y negociación.

  • Habilidades de comunicación sólidas motivación y deseo de trabajar en equipo.

  • Buena comprensión y uso del idioma inglés.

Se considerará una ventaja si cumple los siguientes requisitos

  • Título universitario en Negocios o Comercio.

  • Comprensión del derecho comercial y de las mejores prácticas de compras y cadenas de suministro.

  • Experiencia laboral en el sector industrial.

About the role

Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.

We are looking for a Sourcing Analyst who is accountable for the identification procurement and ongoing management of commercially favourable contracts delivering optimal value to the Rio Tinto Business Unit.

This role will be given accountability for a set of assigned projects and value delivery enabled through the deployment of best practices procurement tools and negotiation skills under guidance of the Procurement Business Partner whilst working within an integrated team.

The Sourcing Analyst will be required to undertake project management and execution of sourcing projects as determined by the operational demand and commensurate with skills and experience. It is expected that the Sourcing Analyst will develop and implement Procurement and Contracting plans in order to optimise value delivery. Reporting to the Procurement Specialist you will be:

  • Ensure that Rincon Mining receives the greatest value from the procurement and contracting plans by effectively negotiating commercially favourable contracts that can delivery value and are completed in accordance with the requirements of the Business Unit with respect to cost schedule and quality of service.

  • Ensures that best client opportunities for value creation are fulfilled by proactively identifying opportunities or risk at an early stage clarifying the value of potential and responding quickly to client needs in the procurement process.

  • Applying analytical skills in the analysis of market research data supplier strategy information and client requirements.

  • Preparing populating and analysing supplier and bid evaluation templates.

  • Developing recommendations based on this analysis to support negotiation strategy planning and execution.

  • Fully utilise e-sourcing systems and other Rio Tinto Procurement systems.

  • Contribute to a strong governance culture in RTP by complying with and driving the behaviour of others consistent with The way we work The Procurement Principles and other RTP governance policies and procedures.

  • All sourcing projects are completed to plan.

  • Contribution to team targets for Value Delivery.

What youll bring

  • Minimum 2 years related work experience in commercial analysis and negotiation.

  • Strong communication motivation and desire to work as team player.

  • Good understanding and use of English language.

It would also be good if you have:

  • Business/Commercial undergraduate degree highly desirable.

  • An understanding of procurement and supply chain best practices commercial law

  • Experience of working in industrial environment
