Job Summary:
The Service Valet/Porter is responsible for assisting the service department by greeting customers moving vehicles safely around the dealership maintaining the cleanliness and organization of service areas and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This role supports technicians and service advisors by helping manage vehicle flow and keeping the service drive running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they arrive at the service drive and direct them to the appropriate service advisor.
Safely drive park and retrieve customer and dealership vehicles.
Maintain an organized and clean service drive parking lot and waiting area.
Assist with vehicle check-in and check-out procedures.
Wash vacuum or prepare vehicles for customer pickup when needed.
Transport vehicles between the service lane shop parking areas and detailing department.
Monitor vehicle inventory on the service lot and ensure proper parking.
Assist technicians and service advisors with basic tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Perform light janitorial duties in service areas as needed.
Follow all safety procedures when operating customer vehicles.
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Reliable punctual and detail-oriented.
Ability to stand walk and move vehicles throughout the day.
Work Environment:
Automotive dealership or service center.
Combination of indoor shop areas and outdoor vehicle lots.
