Your Role Accountabilities:
Business Analysis & Process Improvement:
Using business and application knowledge research requests for assistance and
recommend software solutions or process improvements that will meet business needs.
Identify implicit unstated or unrecognized business needs and assist project leads and
client in determining if buy/build software process reengineering or other technology
options.
Work with project leads to help determine feasibility of solutions and make
recommendations to the project team that will not only provide short-term success but
support the accomplishment of long-term business goals.
Work closely with Sr. Analysts and assist with problem resolution across projects.
Gather requirements during meetings with customers to determine and assist with
prioritization of business and system requirements for projects.
Document organize and analyze requirements (e.g. business system security
conversion and report) functional design and document specifications and assist with
conversion testing training and other project needs throughout the development life
cycle.
Perform walkthroughs and/or prototype demonstrations as needed.
Project Management:
Provide project management for project tasks or small-sized projects including project planning analysis development testing implementation and issue management.
Support
Serve as an escalation point for production support. Capture/communicate problem metrics as appropriate identify and research problem trends and assist other Analysts with resolving process and application issues. Work with internal or external subject matter experts to help prevent further problems by recommending bug-fixes application enhancements customer training or other measures.
Training
Document customer training requirements participants and desired time frames and work with training lead to implement training delivery and documentation. Train customers on an individual or ad-hoc basis as needed.
Reporting
May run create or assist in the preparation of system reports to provide information to the client. Other tasks and duties as needed to support the team and/or business.
Qualifications & Experiences:
At least 3 years combined technical and functional business experience
Demonstrated ability to successfully perform the various aspects of the Analyst role
across multiple systems with custom and/or third-party applications
Demonstrated skills using the MS Office suite and process improvement techniques
Experience with structured development methodology (SDLC)
Experience with detailed creation of functional requirements and design documentation
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Work collaboratively w/small teams
Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
Not Required but preferred experience:
Experience working with Legal systems including experience with one or more of the
following: iManage eDocs LawManager Avvoka CounselLink eCounsel and Adobe Sign
Experience working in a national or global company
Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment
