Job Summary

REPORTING TO

Engineering Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Support continuous improvement activities
Perform time studies data analysis and a variety of other task to support Lean activities and projects
Perform administrative tasks including data entry and computer-based activities
Run tests and validate checks on data equipment or software
Clean move and maintain equipment and supplies
Assist team with administrative tasks and project documentation
Any other engineering or manufacturing tasks as directed by Engineering Manager.

SKILLS and ABILITIES

Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Must be an analytical thinker
Knowledge of metal working and manufacturing process
Knowledge of schematics blueprints and related test procedures
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD preferred
Knowledge of Lean Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma preferred
May require lifting to 50 lbs

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Current enrollment in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other related major
