Job title: Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll & Absence Management Consultant
Location: Newark NJ
Job summary:
We are seeking an experienced consultant to support the Payroll Department during the Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM implementation focusing on Payroll and Absence Management modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Payroll HR IT and implementation partners to gather requirements design configure test and deploy Payroll and Absence Management functionality.
- Configure payroll elements balances fast formulas absence plans accrual rules and related components.
- Support data conversion reconciliation integrations (e.g. time/attendance benefits finance) and testing (unit SIT UAT parallel runs).
- Develop reports/analytics using OTBI BI Publisher and HCM Extracts.
- Troubleshoot issues perform root cause analysis resolve defects (via Jira) and provide post go-live support.
- Create documentation process flows user guides and deliver knowledge transfer/training.
- Recommend process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM specializing in Payroll and Absence Management modules.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing taxation compliance fast formulas costing legislative data groups time/labor integration and absence accrual processing.
- Experience with Oracle HCM Extracts APIs and integrations.
- Proficiency in Oracle reporting tools (OTBI BI Publisher).
- Strong analytical problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelors degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred: Oracle Cloud HCM Certification (Payroll/Absence); prior experience supporting a Payroll team through an HCM transition/upgrade; at least one full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation.
