About your Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Enrichment Educator to join our team full-time. This role has a strong focus on case management supporting students across Kindergarten to Year 12 to thrive in their learning and your position you will work collaboratively with staff families and external professionals to develop and implement strategies that enable students to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship as well as the following skills and experience:
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on learning support plans and case management to ensure effective support for identified students.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to implement adjustments and differentiated learning plans.
- Develop maintain and monitor Individual Plans (IPs) and other documentation.
- Provide targeted support to students to enhance their learning outcomes and confidence.
- Liaise with families external agencies and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to student support
Key Selection Criteria
- Completion of formal tertiary education relevant to Learning Support and experience supporting students learning needs.
- Ability to form positive professional relationships with students across Kindergarten to Year 12.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team to meet diverse student needs.
- Sound understanding of how children learn and develop.
- Working knowledge of the Disability Standards for Education.
- Exceptional time management organisation and record-keeping skills.
- An innovative flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting student learning
- Certificate 3 in School-Based Educational Support
