The Opportunity
At Hitachi Energy were powering a more sustainable futureand were looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help make it happen at our Alamo Tennessee facility. This role is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Youll be hands-on in developing and improving manufacturing processes that support the fabrication production modification and repair of Hitachi Energy products. Working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams youll gain exposure to specialized equipment data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact quality efficiency and delivery.
How youll make an impact
Support the development and application of manufacturing processes
Monitor production progress to meet quality and schedule requirements
Maintain accurate logs documentation and engineering records
Perform engineering analyses using computer-based tools and programs
Compile and analyze data from multiple sources to support decisions
Conduct routine tests and assist with engineering evaluations
Prepare reports and visual materials for presentations
Collaborate with engineers on complex projects and initiatives
Your background
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
Up to 2 years of relevant engineering or manufacturing experience
Familiarity with standard engineering concepts and practices
Experience using computer programs for analysis or reporting
Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
