Job Summary

Unit Function:

The role of the Integrated Warfare Centre (IWC) is to optimise and adapt the current integrated force through concepts and warfare development to support UK and NATO joint commanders to achieve operational advantage over adversaries across the continuum of competition.

Position Role:

The annual Coalition Warrior InteroperabilityeXplorationeXperimentationeXaminationeXercise(CWIX) is a major annual NATO Digital Interoperability Exercise which will take place in Poland in Jun 26.

This roleprovidesa significant opportunity to strengthen the UK National Leadership contribution to CWIX in coordinating UKobjectivesand ensuring effective engagement across the full CWIX planning cycle.

SO1/SO2 CWIX 26will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of the exercise working alongside capability leads CIS and Security POCs and NATO planners to ensure the UK is fully prepared for the delivery phasein Poland. This includes enabling coherent participation ensuring SQEP personnel are in place and helping to resolve issues that would otherwise hinder UK delivery.

The role will also help develop and refine options that maximise UK influence and participation supporting the progression of UK capabilities from early expression of interest through tofully fledgedCWIX test cases. This includes coordinating with NATO ACT managing UK inputs at key planning conferences and advising on prioritisationresourcingand capability readiness.

SO1/SO2CWIX will beinstrumentalin ensuring we effectively report on outcomes synthesising observations insights and lessons from UK participants and generatinghigh qualitycontributions to national reporting cycles and PXRs. This supports continuity across planning cycles and helps ensure lessonsidentifiedfrom CWIX 25 and CWIX 26 are incorporated into future UK and NATO interoperability development.
