Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional non-functional and compliance requirements coding solutions unit testing and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear robust and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data application business) in design and development of client requirements
- Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
- Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
- Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Contributes to existing test suites (integration regression performance) analyze test reports identify any test issues/errors and triage the underlying cause
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Required Qualifications
- Degree in technical field like Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or job related field required.
- 2 years of job related experience required.
- Hands on experience in Application support ensuring stability for high-volume multi-tiered distributed transactional applications in a production environment
- Experience with Windows System Admin Skills Managing changes defects and projects across various testing and PROD environments
- Ability to plan design create programs and document through AGILE framework
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (both to a technical and non-technical audience)
- Experience working with Servers Vulnerabilities and Software patches
- Understanding or working experience with SDLC/Agile teams and utilizing JIRAConfluence
- Experience with Entrust Adaptive Issuance Data Process and Production Management Software DPP
- Experience with Entrust Affina Smart Card Software
- Experience with BoweOrbiter
- Experience with QAD or Expedited Shipment Solutions
- Experience with Pitney Bowes SendPro shipping solution
- Experience in Bit Bucket Jira Code Quality ALM Defect tracking tools SQL Server and DB2
Desired Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Financial Services expertise is highly desired
- Database system administration understanding
- Self driven generalist innovative result-oriented motivating leadership and Project management skills.
