As a Security Officer - Gate Control Driver in Baytown TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location you will help manage site entry points verify credentials maintain visitor and vehicle logs and support a professional customer-focused check-in experience. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents while communicating clearly with employees contractors and leadership. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors employees and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures visitor management requirements and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification authorizations and credentials and by maintaining accurate visitor contractor and vehicle logs.
• Monitor alarms cameras and access control systems and report unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations through established communication and escalation channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings staging areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
