This role is an essential part of the UWMadison Concrete and Asphalt Construction Crew within the Grounds Department. As a member of this team youll help keep our campus safe accessible and looking its best by inspecting maintaining and repairing hard surfaces such as sidewalks curbs steps asphalt pads paths and parking lots- all across our beautiful UWMadison grounds.
Youll also get hands-on experience with landscaping projects building retaining walls and supporting snow removal efforts during the winter season.

The Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) is a full-spectrum service organization that builds maintains and operates the physical environment of UW-Madison in the universitys education research and outreach activities. The minimum rate for this position is $25/hr but it is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
