Werelooking for compassionate and committed Placement SupportWorkers to work closely with foster carers children andsupport services to ensure placements are stable supportive andtailored to each childs unique needs. You work will help buildbrighter futures by fostering strong relationships advocating forchildrens wellbeing and delivery trauma-informed person-centredcare that truly makes a difference.

Whatwill a typical day look like

  • Engage with carers to support children in all aspects of life at home and in the wider community.
  • Use observational and evaluation skills to contribute to the assessment of children and carers needs.
  • Work collaboratively with Child Safety Services community agencies and elders to establish and maintain sound working relationships.
  • Provide on call services through a scheduled roster.
  • Identify carer training and developmental needs to ensure the needs of the children are met.

MandatoryRequirements:

  • Certificate IV level or higher in Community Services (Child Protection) with significant experience in a similar field.

OtherRequirements:

  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
  • Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
