Cathodic Protection CP Technician
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- CIPS & DCVG Surveys:Conduct surveys on pipelines in plant areas and road crossings.
Cathodic Protection Work:
- Measure potential voltage and current at test points.
- Perform routine checks on T/R units and Tank PSP.
- Identify issues with bonds joints and other cathodic protection components.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems during surveys.
- Measure potential voltage and current at test points.
Report Preparation:
Write reports with findings and suggest remedial actions where needed.
GDS Surveys:
Periodically survey pipelines along the Gas Distribution System (GDS).
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education:
- Engineering Degree or Higher Diploma with NACE CP Technician Level II certification.
- Engineering Degree or Higher Diploma with NACE CP Technician Level II certification.
Experience:
- 8 years in Cathodic Protection with recent experience in CIPS DCVG and similar surveys.
- 8 years in Cathodic Protection with recent experience in CIPS DCVG and similar surveys.
