AWS Senior Solutions Architect, Brazil Federal Government SA

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Solutions Architect to work with our customers partners and other AWS teams to craft cloud-based solutions in Brazil.

Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for defining and executing the technical strategy alongside sales and business development teams to delight our Enterprise customers and partners in the Public Sector through a deep relationship with AWS.

- Partner with customers and cross-functional AWS teams to design highly scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services
- As a key member of the Solutions Architecture team guide customers in successfully building migrating and optimizing applications software and services on the AWS platform
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community including authoring or contributing to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers blogs and reference architectures


A day in the life
As a Solution Architect you will go beyond the technical solution architecture and work with the account teams specialists and partners to deliver a practical solution that will accelerate the customers business outcome. You will also contribute to uplifting your knowledge through the broad catalogue of accreditation and education opportunities that AWS offer.

- 8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
- 5 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Ability to communicate fluently in English in technical and business settings (verbal and written)

- 5 years of infrastructure architecture database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Knowledge of cloud architecture
