JANITORIAL/BUILDING MAINTENANCE

Hours may vary depending on tasks and time of year. Full or part time hours available. Ideal schedule would be 10am to 6:30pm M-F. Hiring immediately

Local automobile dealership is seeking aJanitorial/Building Maintenanceperson with a strong interest in ensuring all buildings and grounds are excellently maintained.

Our ideal candidate will

- Perform general building maintenance duties ensure building cleanliness and a safe work environment.

- Buildings & Grounds: maintains interior and exterior of building including sidewalks lighting and janitorial including keeping sidewalks & doorways clear of snow & ice.

- General Maintenance: performs inside and outside building maintenance repairs/tasks including but not limited to cleaning set ups service requests changing light bulbs and maintenance of snow blowers floor scrubbers etc.

- Assist with carpentry fixture installation flooring painting and landscaping and have the knowledge to trouble-shoot electrical plumbing and heating and air conditioning and oil burner.

- Maintain inventory of materials as necessary.

- Conduct daily rounds to ensure upkeep of building: interior and exterior. Respond to building/maintenance emergencies during the day.

- Perform other miscellaneous maintenance duties/other job related duties as assigned.

-Use our John Deere riding lawn mower to keep the grass cut in the summer. Apply weed killer to landscaping to maintain a tidy appearance.

-Use our snow blower and help shovel snow in the winter time.

-Daily clean sweep and use our riding floor scrubber to keep the shop and service drive clean.

-Various other maintenance and custodial tasks as the needs arise

Qualifications:

Knowledge of custodial light building maintenance and operating cleaning equipment.

HS Diploma or GED and valid WI drivers license required. Pre-employment drug testing may be required

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Pay: $21 per hour based on experience

Benefits: Paid Time Off for full time 401k with match benefits all available after a short waiting period for full time candidates.

Note: Must be able to lift 50 lbs daily to dump service shop trash bins.
