What Youll Do
- Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes menus and portion guidelines
- Ensure meals meet quality presentation and dietary standards
- Follow food safety sanitation and infection control policies
- Support special diets and dietary restrictions as directed
- Maintain a clean organized kitchen and food prep areas
- Assist with inventory storage labeling and rotation of food items
- Work closely with the dining services team to ensure timely meal service
What Were Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience in healthcare senior living or high-volume food service preferred
- Knowledge of food safety sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to follow recipes menus and instructions consistently
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Dependable team-oriented and able to work independently
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
