About the Role
The successful candidate will support the HR department in delivering efficient accurate and timely HR services across the school. You will work closely with senior leadership to manage HR processes ensure compliance with employment legislation and provide advice and support to staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting recruitment processes including job adverts shortlisting and interview coordination
Assisting with staff onboarding contracts and induction processes
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases
Supporting payroll administration and staff absence tracking
Providing guidance to staff on HR policies procedures and employment regulations
Assisting with performance management processes and staff appraisal documentation
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding health & safety and statutory employment requirements
Supporting HR projects and initiatives as required
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Have experience in HR administration ideally within education or a similar professional environment
Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be confident in using HR software and Microsoft Office applications
Have a strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
Be professional proactive and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
