As our Director of People & Talent you will be our first dedicated People & Talent hire. You will own our end-to-end global People & Talent strategy. The expectation is that our People & Talent strategy and execution will attract and retain top talent in the market and that our company culture will function as a strategic asset for the company.

The position as Director of People & Talent is our first dedicated People & Talent hire and a strategic role for our continued growth. You will own the global end-to-end People & Talent strategy. We believe that company culture is a strategic asset and we are excited for you to join us in further developing and nurturing it as we scale. To achieve this you will initially operate across the full spectrum of People & Talent from core strategy to day-to-day execution - as part of building out the Talent & People function at Unleash.

We are looking for a Director of People & Talent who will help us scale the organization while preserving what makes Unleash unique.
You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to build the foundations for how we attract develop and retain exceptional people across the company.
This is a foundational role where you will shape the People strategy of a growing global SaaS company.
The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Initially you will operate as an individual contributor responsible for building the People function from the ground up. As the company continues to scale you will gradually build out the People function and hire additional team members where needed.
This may include building internal recruiting capabilities as well as hiring regional People support as the company grows - for example a future HR resource in the US.

Help shape and evolve the culture at Unleash
Support leaders in building strong teams and healthy organizations
Help define how we operate as a remote-first company
Work with leadership on organizational structure and team development
You will also play a key role in how we develop people at Unleash:
Identify and help develop high-potential employees across the company
Support leaders in performance and development conversations
Help managers become stronger people leaders through coaching and structured support
Help leaders address underperformance and navigate difficult people situations when needed

Hiring & Onboarding
Hiring exceptional people is one of the most important things we do.
You will:
Own and continuously improve the end-to-end hiring process
Partner closely with leadership to identify and attract exceptional candidates
Define and evolve the companys recruitment strategy as we scale
Decide how we build our recruiting capabilities over time including when to hire in-house recruiters and when to work with external partners
Build relationships with boutique recruiters and talent networks
Maintain a high hiring bar as the company grows
You will also ensure new hires get a strong start at Unleash:
Design and improve onboarding experiences across teams
Ensure new employees ramp up quickly and understand our culture product and ways of working
Continuously improve how we integrate new hires into the company
People Operations
Organize and professionalize the HR function
Implement and maintain HR systems and processes
Simplify where needed and build where required
Ensure the People function scales effectively with the organization
Cultural development: Day-to-day execution is well aligned with our company culture. Cultural expressions (day-to-day behaviors and execution) are inline with defined company values.
Talent management: Open positions have a strong candidate pipeline. Top talent is retained low performers are quickly identified. New hires are efficiently onboarded and ramped. Monthly employee engagement (people NPS company value scores & psychological safety) are kept at the highest level.
People ops: People ops run efficiently. Technology and AI is applied where appropriate and HR systems are maintained as appropriate for the company operations.
Have 7 years of experience in People HR or Talent roles
Have experience working in high-growth or scale-up environments
Have built or helped build People and Talent processes
Have strong experience with organizational development culture or talent management
Have worked with distributed or international teams
Are comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on roles
Communicate clearly and partner effectively with founders and senior leaders
Experience with executive search or strategic hiring
Experience working across EU and US organizations
Experience implementing HR systems or People tools
Background from technology or SaaS companies
