About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to support the development of backend systems related to post-purchase user journeys. The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to design develop and maintain scalable backend solutions that support customer-facing digital services. The role requires strong backend engineering expertise experience with modern development practices and the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain backend services and APIs supporting post-purchase customer journeys.
Develop scalable and reliable backend solutions using Kotlin and Java.
Collaborate with product owners developers and other stakeholders within Agile teams.
Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure system quality and reliability.
Work with CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and continuous delivery.
Contribute to cloud-native architecture and DevOps practices.
Participate in troubleshooting optimization and continuous improvement of backend systems.
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin.
Solid experience in Java backend development.
Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar).
Experience with cloud-hosted environments preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience working in Agile development teams.
Experience with GraphQL in Java-based environments.
Strong knowledge of automated testing for backend systems.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern development workflows.
Understanding of cloud-native architecture.
