Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer (Contract 12 months) in Oshkosh WI will play a pivotal role in designing developing and improving production components tooling and processes to support manufacturing operations. This position provides hands-on engineering exposure and collaboration with experienced plant engineering teams focusing on new product introduction tooling design and prototype assembly. Skills Emphasized:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or related field
- Proficiency in CAD modeling software and 3D design tools
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
Key Responsibilities:
- Design new and improved components tooling and assembly fixtures ensuring compliance with engineering standards
- Prepare vehicle layouts detailed component drawings and conduct basic engineering calculations
- Collaborate with plant engineering teams to identify tooling requirements for new products and support assembly floor implementation
- Generate bills of materials (BOMs) assembly drawings and technical documentation
- Assist senior engineers with project tasks process planning and product introduction activities
- Utilize CAD and engineering software to support design modeling and analysis tasks
