This position works out of ourHamburg location in the Abbott Automation Solutions GmbH.
Your Tasks:
- Creation and execution of test protocols for on-market products and new developments of medium complexity
- Maintenance and re-execution of existing test protocols
- Rating and subsequent reporting of test results
- Coaching and mentoring of associate test engineers
- Collaboration with other departments during new product development and product maintenance
- Working in cross-functional teams
- Beyond the general legal obligation to prevent accidents a Test Engineer is assigned certain duties in respect to environmental protection and work safety which tie in directly with their position within the company. It is their task to actively support Abbotts environmental goals to keep the sequence of operations free of risks and to ensure employees under their supervision follow the rules for safe behavior at work
Your Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Electronics Mechatronics Computer Science or technical related discipline is required OR relevant combination of education or experience.
- 3 - 5 years work experience as a Test Engineer; less experience may be appropriate with advanced degree or proven track record of Abbott internal experience
- Experience in testing electronic / mechatronic systems or in the area of software testing
- Experience in coaching of people
- Demonstrates understanding of how the function supports the business
- Demonstrates technical and business competencies that drive results and continuous improvement
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and German with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization incl. presenting to project teams
- MS Office knowledge
