Who are we looking for
We are looking for an Industrial Designer to support our design team in creating innovative and outstanding products for the hom to make better homes a reality for everyone everywhere.
Responsibilities:
- As part of the industrial design team you will support the design team as well as other product development teams across the globe.
- You will iteratively develop and guide ideas and concepts from the first sketch to 3D this process you will work both independently and in coordination with other teams and stakeholders.
- You will create quick prototypes to test ergonomics operating concepts and styling ideas during different stages of development.
- You will accompany your projects up to series production and develop detailed solutions and design adjustments.
- You will participate in further shaping the design language of our brands.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Degree in product industrial or transportation design.
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- A portfolio with independent and innovative projects as well as successfully implemented products.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High motivation and the ability to independently develop ideas and concepts.
- Strong sense of shapes and proportions.
- Good understanding of ergonomics and interaction.
- Familiarity with production processes and materials.
- Experience with 3D programs such as Rhino Alias SolidWorks and the Adobe Suite.
- Ability to visualize and communicate ideas quickly and clearly.
- Organized working style and reliable execution of tasks.
- Experience designing products with complex requirements.
- Enjoy designing products for the home.
- Fluent English.
