Produces images for medical diagnosis by operating magnetic resonance equipment. Performs procedures and calibrates and operates equipment under limited radiologist direction. Processes images and coordinates patient care with other patient services. This position is represented by and Work Experience:Certificate or diploma from MRI school or Associates degree in Radiology: RequiredBachelors Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors): PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology (ARRT-R) or Magnetic Resonance (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT): RequiredRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: PreferredBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredFluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CAVenipuncture certification: Required in CAARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT): RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredVenipuncture (IV) certification: RequiredState Radiologic Tech (RT): Required

requirement:

Day Shift. 4 x 10s M - TH; 0730 to 1800. No Call. Venipuncture and MRI license required. Must have experience on Toshiba MRI scanner. 5 years of experience minimum as an MRI tech.
