Job Summary

Job description

Responsible for developing customizing maintaining and supporting WordPressbased websites and blogs with a focus on performance security accessibility and scalable publishing workflows Works closely with content marketing and operations teams to enable reliable blog staging publishing and ongoing support

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins

Customize and extend existing themes and plugins

Convert FigmaPSDXD designs into responsive WordPress websites

Optimize website performance speed and SEO

Integrate thirdparty APIs payment gateways and external systems

Manage website security backups and updates

Troubleshoot and debug issues across environments

Manage deployments from local to staging to production

Configure hosting environments and domain setups

Maintain version control and follow proper release processes

Monitor live environments and resolve production issues

Deployment DevOps Requirements

Experience with Gitbased workflows

Ability to handle manual and automated deployments

Experience working with staging and production environments

Knowledge of CICD pipelines preferred

Experience with hosting platforms cPanel Plesk AWS Digital Ocean Cloudways etc

Database migration and environment configuration handling

SSL setup DNS management and server configuration basics

Required Technical Skills

Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript jQuery

Custom theme development experience

Plugin developmentcustomization

Understanding of REST APIs

Website performance optimization techniques

Security best practices
