Education/ Experience:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy
  • Must have Ohio State Licensure

Skills:

  • Practice Physical Therapy consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
  • Treat patients and function as a Physical Therapist as indicated
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving problem prevention and decision-making skills
  • Ability to convey empathy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure and restore calm in a stressful situation

Essential Functions:

  • Help develop and maintain a corporate culture that supports the mission and values of Mayfield Clinic.
  • Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the facility.
  • Confer with the person(s) most closely associated with the active
  • management of the patient and keep them informed of any additional
  • patient treatment modification and/or progress.
  • Prepare Evaluation reports/summaries.
  • Prepare Discharge reports/summaries
  • Provide Progress reports to referring physicians and agencies
