Education/ Experience:
- Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy
- Must have Ohio State Licensure
Skills:
- Practice Physical Therapy consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
- Treat patients and function as a Physical Therapist as indicated
- Demonstrates excellent customer service
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving problem prevention and decision-making skills
- Ability to convey empathy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and restore calm in a stressful situation
- Uses good judgment and diplomacy when dealing with others
- Desire and ability to work in a team environment
Essential Functions:
- Help develop and maintain a corporate culture that supports the mission and values of Mayfield Clinic.
- Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the facility.
- Confer with the person(s) most closely associated with the active
- management of the patient and keep them informed of any additional
- patient treatment modification and/or progress.
- Prepare Evaluation reports/summaries.
- Prepare Discharge reports/summaries
- Provide Progress reports to referring physicians and agencies
