Hi my name is Luca Stabellini and I am heading Telia Companys Group Strategy organization. Telia is on a mission to build a simpler faster and more efficient organization. My focus is to support all of our markets to drive growth and execute on some of their key strategic priorities while at the same time establish and providing data driven capabilities for better decision making. And beside me I have a super team to help me fulfill that mission! I am now looking to strengthen my team with one Strategy lead that will work close to me and all of our markets in shaping and executing on our mid-long term strategic agenda.

What youll do:

If you like to work in a fast-paced international environment this is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Head of Group Strategy in one of the largest companies in Sweden. You will not only get an unmatchable insight into the Telecom industry and Telia Company but also get the unique opportunity to gain deep insights and exposure the Group Strategy and Telia Company Management team.

Moreover you will have the chance to acquire an exceptional and close understanding of how a listed multinational company is managed while you build your own management skillset by working with business driven and professional colleagues. This experience will also give you a possibility to build a strong senior network within Telia Company and the telecom role will be a great springboard to your career at Telia!

The role includes but is not limited to:

• Participate in plan and contribute to Group Strategy Management agenda
• Support the Head of Strategy across various topics from Board updates to strategy implementation follow-ups
• Lead and/or participate in different strategic projects initiated by the Group Management across Telia Company footprint

The position is a permanent position and reports directly to the Head of Group Strategy and is located at Telia Companys headquarters in Solna. Oslo can also be considered as a potential location.

What will help you thrive in this role:

We want you have a genuine telecom and technology interest with the ambition to grow and develop within that field. You are used to interacting with senior management teams and have shown leadership interest and potential. We like you to have a high energy level to be intellectually curious with a positive attitude and with the willingness to be hands-on in you work! Furthermore you have experience from and knowledge of tools for both qualitative and quantitative strategic- financial- and business analysis. To be successful in this role you need to be well organized and with great communication skills in English - great interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a broad range of stakeholders in our markets and units are also a must.

Your personal competencies:

• Team player with solid collaboration skills and a humble outlook able to operate in an international environment and manage the view of multiple stakeholders
• Good business acumen with good reasoning abilities
• Analytic and structured problem solver with a can-do attitude
• Excellent conceptualization skills including ability to think outside the box
• Good business understanding and acumen
• Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment

Your Experience:

• Approximately 5-7 years relevant professional experience e.g. from management consulting or from a strategic and management-oriented role in another corporation
• Academic background preferably with a masters degree in Engineering or Business
• Experience in TMT / High tech sector is beneficial but not required
• International experience is beneficial
