Webpress Jogger Job Description

At Aradius Group our pressroom is where precision and teamwork drive production forward. We are looking for a dependable Web Press Jogger to support our heatset web press operations. This role assists press operators to ensure printed materials move efficiently through production while maintaining quality and safety standards.

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail and strong teamwork are essential.

Schedule / Shift Options

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Two openings available (one per shift).
  

What Youll Do:

• Catch jog and stack folded printed signatures at the delivery end of the press.
• Assist the press operator with roll changes including removing spent rolls and preparing new rolls.
• Move pallets of printed materials to designated areas using pallet jacks or other equipment.
• Help with press setup tasks such as hanging plates cleaning blankets and assisting with press maintenance.
• Monitor printed materials for quality issues such as misfolds alignment issues or product damage.
• Communicate with press operators and team members to maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain a clean safe and organized pressroom workspace.
• Support other pressroom activities as needed to ensure production deadlines are met.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify print defects or production issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-based production environment.
• Willingness to learn pressroom operations and assist with mechanical tasks.
• Dependable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working around large production equipment.

What You Bring:

• Previous print production experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and basic material handling equipment.
• Capability to lift and stack materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
• Flexibility to work overtime nights or weekends as production demands require.
