Job Description

Seeking a Histotechnologist (HT) to perform tissue processing cutting and embedding in a high-volume hospital-based lab. This role requires accuracy attention to detail and experience handling lab specimens.

Key Responsibilities

Cut and embed tissue specimens for diagnostic purposes
Maintain accuracy and quality in a high-volume lab environment
Follow lab protocols and safety procedures
Document work appropriately in lab information systems

Qualifications

Required: Certified Histotechnologist - HT (ASCP) prior to start
Preferred: HT (ASCP) with 5 years of experience
Experience with lab specimens and Epic Beaker a plus
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume environment

Additional Requirements

Ability to sit or stand as needed during shifts
Must have HT (ASCP) certification prior to start
