Our client a major infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Signalling Electrician Team Leader to join a large rail infrastructure project in Perth.
This role provides both technical and leadership responsibilities supporting installation and coordination of rail signalling systems while guiding site teams to deliver safe and efficient project outcomes.
About the Role
Based from the project office in Bassendean you will provide technical leadership to signalling electricians while supporting installation and commissioning activities across the project.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead installation and termination of signalling assets including signals track circuits and transponders
Provide daily supervision and technical guidance to signalling electricians
Work closely with construction and testing teams to maintain project schedules
Support site correlation activities to ensure alignment between design and field conditions
Assist with survey and readiness checks for installation works
Identify discrepancies early and help maintain project progress visibility
Provide technical oversight to improve delivery sequencing and minimise rework
Requirements
Trade qualification as an Electrician
WA A Grade Electrical Licence
Experience in rail signalling or electrical infrastructure projects
Previous experience in a Leading Hand or supervisory role
Strong safety leadership and communication skills
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Valid drivers licence
