Job Summary
- Perform installation maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems in wind turbines.
- Inspect and test electrical components such as generators transformers converters control panels sensors and cables.
- Diagnose electrical faults using tools such as multimeters insulation testers and diagnostic software.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems switchgear and substations.
- Monitor turbine performance through SCADA systems and control panels.
- Repair or replace electrical components including motors relays sensors and wiring systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and grid connection requirements.
- Support commissioning and energization activities during turbine installation.
- Work closely with mechanical teams during turbine maintenance operations.
- Maintain records of inspections testing results and repair activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology
- 37 years experience in wind turbine or power plant electrical maintenance
- Knowledge of Generators Transformers SCADA systems Electrical protection systems and High-voltage equipment
- Ability to work at heights and follow electrical safety standards
