Work Allocator

Job Title: Work AllocatorWe are looking for a Work Allocator to join our growing team in Hawick. This role entails distributing work to different sections in our production process and liaising with Supervisors as to priority items dealing with any discrepancies between documentation and actual is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours a week on dayshift. Rate of pay for this role is 13.08 per hour increasing to 13.45 in May training will be provided but if you have experience in this role or something similar your expertise will be highly valued and the RoleYou will be:Distributing work to different sections in our production process ensuring priority items are given chaser sheet supplied by Manager check in computer to find status of listed items then physically trace them and ensure their prompt process through the various any issues with mixed lines on garments coming through up-date reports which trace the status of garments related to numbers at meetings with representatives from each departmentCollecting work from different departmentsScanning all work onto JOMAR youYou will:have the ability to carefully and accurately follow detailed written instructionstake pride in doing a job well and never compromise on high standardscommunicate well with colleagues and be an enthusiastic and supportive team memberhave excellent colour visionhave previous experience operating machineryAbout UsFounded in 1797 Johnstons of Elgin is an innovative luxury clothing brand celebrating 225 years of experience in working with the worlds finest fibres.
