Your role & work environment

You will be part of the Transaction Services Sales team of ING WB in Italy in charge of supporting the origination development and implementation of Payments and Cash Management solutions for WB Italy clients.

Payment and Cash Management together with Trade Finance Solutions and Working Capital Solutions is part of the Transaction Services Sales team offering to local large corporates and subsidiaries of international clients operating in Italy the best-in-class transaction banking solutions of ING.

The TS Italy team is currently composed of 5 people with further expectation to grow to support the business growth.

Your key responsibilities

Commercial attitude

• Youre willing to invest in a long-term relationship with our clients and prospects in order for ING to become their primary bank
• Youre result driven and look for healthy growth of your portfolio revenues in Italy and abroad
• You spot business opportunities in your conversations with your clients and organise pitches to generate business and reinforce INGs position in the market

Stakeholder management

• You have effective networking and relationship building skills allowing to quickly earn the confidence of mandate holders senior management and clients to ensure smooth transactions and processes
• You will be part of virtual client teams contributing to activities with local or international relationship managers to ensure the proper positioning of ING PCM offer. You take ownership and make it happen

Objectives

• You monitor your client/product profitability and the realization of your portfolio KPIs & team objectives
• You ensure that our Payments and Cash Management solutions are properly introduced to our clients to respond to their daily banking needs
• You participate to global Transaction Services initiatives and improvement projects and actively contribute to making the Payments and Cash Management offering on ING aligned with the highest standards

As a Director in Payment and Cash Management you will also need:

• Academic degree / MBA in finance economics law or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Payments and Cash management sales role
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in Italian and English
• You have a strong product knowledge and a deep understanding of clients needs when it comes to Payments and collections Cash and Liquidity management and Channels
• An understanding of other Transaction Services areas such as Trade Finance and Working Capital is a plus
• Experience with large corporate clients is an advantage
• To give and ask for constructive feedback
• The ability to get things done effectively and efficiently
• To be a team player who loves to gain deepen and share knowledge
