Compensation

• Pay Rate: $40 per hour (W2)

Position Summary

A healthcare facility in Oklahoma City OK is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term contract assignment in a Primary Care setting. The LPN will support both clinical and administrative functions while delivering patient-centered care focused on preventive health population health management and patient education.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate strong clinical skills attention to detail and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care by measuring and recording vital signs

• Escort and room patients while preparing them for exams and procedures

• Assist providers during examinations and clinical procedures

• Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed

• Perform phlebotomy and collect blood samples for laboratory testing

• Document patient visits and clinical information in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems

• Respond to patient phone calls and follow established clinical protocols

• Educate patients about treatment plans medications and follow-up care

• Maintain accurate and updated patient records

• Monitor medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms as needed

• Support front-office tasks including scheduling patient check-in and general clerical duties

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License

• Experience working in primary care or outpatient clinical settings preferred

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems

• Strong communication organizational and patient care skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
