Job Summary
We are actively hiring experiencedCNC Machinists for a machining facility inJackson MI. This is a great opportunity for machinists who are confident insetup operation offsets and changeovers and have strong experience withFANUC-based controls.
Machines Currently Running
All equipment utilizesFANUC-based controls (operator interface varies by manufacturer):
- DMG MORI - Horizontal Lathes & Horizontal Machining Centers
- DOOSAN - Vertical Lathes & Horizontal Machining Centers
- MAKINO - Horizontal Machining Centers
If youve worked on these platforms (or similar FANUC-controlled machines) we want to talk to you.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform full machinesetups and changeovers
- Operate CNC lathes and machining centers efficiently
- Adjust offsets and make program edits as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Monitor tool wear and perform tooling changes
- Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Support production goals in a fast-paced machining environment
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Some Saturdays required
- Overtime as needed
- Potential travel Sunday 3/1 to start Monday 3/2
Travel candidates within8-hour driving distance preferred.
Compensation & Travel Package
- $35/hour
- Overtime available
- $45/day per diem
- Shared hotel rooms provided
- Travel reimbursement included
Requirements
- Strong experience withFANUC controls
- Experience withsetup operation offsets and changeovers
- Experience on horizontal/vertical lathes and machining centers
- Ability to work OT and weekends when required
- Reliable and safety-focused
