Job Description
As a Security Officer - On-Call/Flex in Minneapolis MN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and store guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with store management and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor receiving areas exterior entrances and perimeter to help to deter theft loitering and/or unauthorized access.
- Monitor customer and employee activity for unusual behavior investigate security-related concerns and document observations incidents and/or hazards in written reports.
- Support access control and loss prevention operations by observing deliveries checking restricted areas assisting with crowd control during peak shopping times and/or maintaining a professional presence at key entrances.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
