About Mezepay
MezePay is a payment system for restaurants that allows customers to scan a QR code to view their bill split the check add a tip and pay instantly. It is not a funding or financing company itself but a tool for streamlining the payment process.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of
scalable high-performance web applications within the MezePay platform. This role requires deep
frontend expertise strong architectural thinking and production-level ownership. The ideal
candidate will design and build resilient secure and maintainable frontend systems while
collaborating closely with product backend and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain high-quality user interfaces using and .
Architect scalable and maintainable frontend systems using TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
Implement modular reusable component libraries and shared design systems.
Ensure clean API integration patterns and strong separation of concerns.
Drive performance optimization strategies (SSR caching lazy loading bundle optimization).
Write and maintain unit integration and automated UI tests.
Partner with product managers and designers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Mentor engineers and promote frontend best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
7 years of frontend development experience ( TypeScript).
Experience implementing scalable frontend architectures in production environments.
Experience with feature flagging systems (e.g. LaunchDarkly).
Strong background in automated testing (unit integration UI).
Strong understanding of web performance optimization and browser behavior.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fintech payments or high-availability SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with microservices-based backend architectures.
Experience with observability tools (logging monitoring tracing).
Experience contributing to architectural decisions in scaling environments
