Job Summary
ROLE SUMMARY:
Field Medical is a disease area expert for inline and pipeline scientific discussions and data dissemination. The purpose of position is tointeract with external stakeholders disseminating the scientificknowledge of Pfizers products and about respective diseasereports high qualityData Facts and Observations(DFOs)and brings strategic scientifically valuable insights to Medical Affairs and contributing to business strategies. Is responsible to identify data generation needs and to execute external medical initiatives and stakeholder engagement through scientific discussions. Is the main liaison between external and internal stakeholders.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provideaccurateandbalancedscientific informationon Pfizer Innovative portfolio / disease area focusing on pre-launch (at least 6 months before launch) and post launch phase (till 1 year or as business needed)as well as ofcompetitors and related diseases meeting medical and scientific needs expressed byexternal stakeholders.
With 90% dedicated to external activities act as External Ambassador for disease area mainly with Tier 1 Tier 2 HCPs Clinical sites and investigators. Senior Field Medical may engage with top KOLs and major institutions (segmentation based on level of projects interest) and Patients Associations & Medical Societies on an Ad Hoc basis.
Share internally the insights from the customers identify opportunities for collaboration to improve patient care and contribute tomedical strategy.
Engage and develop partnershipsto identify potential projects candidates to Independent Medical Grants andCollaborative Trials
Coordinate the technical aspects relatedtoscientific events (non-promotional or promotional) based on MA01policy guidanceelectingand trainingthe speakers and assuring the ethics and scientific correctness of the provided information.
Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise including familiarity with latest congress data and disease state literature
QUALIFICATIONS: Healthcare professional degree from an accredited school. Postgraduate (Master PhD) degree is desirable
Scientific Expertise in disease area(Oncology)
Experience in pharmaceutical Industry experience in healthcare area and /or basic or clinical research are advantages
Ability to manage a significant volume of projects developed in a field-based environment while exhibiting the ability to prioritize successfully implement and demonstrate excellent judgment skills.
Demonstrate expertise in communication across multiple channels including but not limited to live and virtual presentations in small or large settings written communication or virtual conversations
Rapidly adopt and utilize new digital technology and other resources with medical customers and record medical interactions
Strong comprehension and communication skills including ability to communicate large amounts of scientific information in a manner that is clear and concise
External Ambassador excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Collaboration teamwork decision-making and accountability
